My Silver Toy


Got her mid Feb.
90 DLX 22R Fed. 5 Speed. stock all around.

Added New Oil and filter, PVC valve, fuel filter, spark plugs, cap and rotor, wires, air filter. New oem radiator cap and thermostat, checked all kyb shocks are in good working order.

4 tires sucked so I needed new ones.

the second day, Tocoma wheels and 2" F/R drop

Pulled the dent out from the rear corner.
then I worked on some carb/ vacuum issues.

Fixed the exhaust, muffler was gone

before the month was up I picked up some IS300 wheels

During that time I cleaned her up

fixed the emissions control unit, it was completely bypassed.

added a light up key ring, sr5 dome/map light, sr5 door panels, clock, glove box light, cig lighter ring light and ash tray light. driver grab handle. my old red truck dash cover. 94 steering wheel.

Tinted the rear window. added sr5 4" speaker boxes and new kicker 4" spekers. added the tow ball and trailer harness. Been doing a lot of towing/hauling.

Added A/C

Installed a 4runner front end.

added side markers and modded the front lights.
installed energy suspension sway bar end link bushings.

bumpers now light up at night,as well. in day side marker lights up along with bumper lights when turning, at night, bumpers come on and so does the side marker, when I signal, bumper lights up brighter, and side marker blinks off and on.

all this in 2 months helps having parts lying around, lol
future plans are flush trans and differential oils, 4 runner mirrors, hidden tow hitch. remove stock bump stops, replace with low profile ones. bed tie downs for my bike in case I don't want to tow. debating on a fiberglass tonneau cover or not. maybe half red/clear tail lights 4runner radiator electric fan. sale the IS300 rims and get some 18's ohh yeah almost forgot, fix all the small dents and paint it 2 tone, silver and red, oem toyota colors. but that wont be for a while. and maybe some 4wd fenders.
drive her till the wheels fall off.

Thanks, I haven't forgotten, I been searching they pick a parts, but the ones I have been finding are all broken. just have to be patient.

About time you started a build thread! Truck is coming along great! I have a set of Chrome SR5 4Runner mirrors kicking around.. the chrome and glass is perfect, but one has a scratch on the outer black metal part. PM me your email addy if your interested and want pics
