The day I got the truck After I refinished the dash and placed the Toyota Paseo seats in. They are not mounted yet I need to build brackets. I have black carpet to put in and finish the door panels and a few random interior pieces to paint.
Oh and the outside after stripping the decals and bumper And the dirty 2004 from the 12 inches of snow the other night
hey man if your not using the brackets off your bench seats could I buy those from you?? Im in boise so let me know.
Yeah i would sell them if you needed, I dont know when I will be in Boise next but I will let you know. I tend to spend a lot of time in Pocatello though. I love the front end of this truck I didnt know that this was an upgraded version. I just thought it was the year.
Yah it looks like its 4x4 front minus the fenders kinda, looks good though. Back to the brackets I went back and noticed you had the full bench so I doubt you have all 4 sliders
Yeah let me know about the brackets. I compared 4x4 fenders to these and could not find a difference. What is the difference?
then they probably are 4x4 fenders. Difference is they just step out a but further through the bodyline that being straight cut from the body line like the 2wd but my eyes suck when looking at white so with your truck I cant tell but yah maybe the entire front end is 4x4 I know the grille and bumber are so are the corner lights
Well that is good to hear i guess i do not need to replace the front end. Haha. As soon as i get my bonus i will drop it and hopefully get some rims. Paint is a little later though.
4WD fenders - the rear bedside fender's flares matches it, not "flat". kinda like an "a" cup. Easiest way to identify is the corner lights. Has about an inch or two of horizontal flare, I think.
Wow the dash took forever. I sanded it down piece by piece until it was completely smoothed then painted it gloss black. Each piece took a few hours of sanding. I think it was worth it once i was done. I need to find something to do to the door panels to match the rest of the interior.
You have the 92-95 4runner front end. So you already have 4x4 fenders. 2wd fenders have no flare at all.
That is strange that the truck already has 4x4 front end. I bought the truck from some old guy that used it to commute to work. Well i guess that is just one thing I do not need to worry about replacing. Once I get my bonus I will drop it and put some rims on it and post some pictures. I also need some information on the bolt pattern of the wheels and what wheels I can put on the truck. I will buy some used rims to save money.
5 x 114.3 mm or 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern . how hard was it to remove that dash? anu pics of it out, painted?
I did have pictures of the entire process but they were deleted on accident. The dash was not that difficult to remove it is just time consuming sanding. I need some ideas for the door panels so give me some suggestions if you have any.
I started with a 100 grit until the orange peel was gone then progressively increased the grit. I would do one coat of paint then wet sand and do a final coat.
A new update on my truck, I received some clear corner lights and bumper lights but have not put them on. I received my new taillights and had to do a little grinding on one of the brackets to get them to fit. Here is before The grind bracket And after Here is the bracket build for the seats Putting the carpet in I have the finish the carpet but i need to wait until i finish dying the seats back to black. I will finish them when it warms up a little bit.
