my wife picked this up today. when taxes come back we're going to swap a runner body on this frame. it has a good running 22r and a 4 speed. it's reversed 4 linked with bag on axle. 1/2" valves on all 4. i've already put slow downs up front, and will probably be putting 1/4" line in place of the 1/2. slow is better imo :)

thanks, i'm already tinkering with it a bit.

thanks man, i just gotta keep it from snowballing lol

it's mainly gunna be my wifes spin on it. she's gunna daily it until the runner swap happens. then once that's done she's gunna daily it again lol

me neither! melisa was already on craigslist last night looking for the donor haha

only way this is going to the AON show is if my wife takes it herself. i'd hate to represent my club with such a rough truck, i'd rather push my hilux in lol

yeah it was on craiglist in phoenix

honestly most of it will be scrap. the only things that appear to be straight are the doors, but since it's been painted a few times they could have bondo in them. my body guy said the bed could be straightened up but the floor is cut for the notches. but if there is something you want thats left when the swap is done just let me know. QC isn't far from here.

thanks! for now i just want to get the water leak fixed, replace the leaky valve cover gasket, get the air leaks fixed and make sure it drives decent.

i also got the front bumper brackets straightened out today so it lines up better, and also started removing some of the emissions crap. hopefully i'll put a weber on it soon.

the drivers door inside handle was missing. i found a chrome one in a toyota corona so i grabbed both sides. they fit like stock, but the left one goes on the right side and vice versa. the chrome handle is also metal instead of plastic.

    i'm not sure honestly.

they pretty much have camrys from the late eighties to mid nineties in the yard i got them at. i actually took some out of an 80's camry, then kept searching for some in better condition. they're all the same mounting wise, just the plastic surrounds are more boxy the older they get.

This should be good. After seeing your door handles I picked up a set for my truck. In case anyone is curious they are from the 86-91 camry.

been putting in work on the truck. trying to have all the chassis work/repairs done before we get the runner body so there isn't a lot of down time when the swap happens.

the air cleaner was missing when i got it so i picked up a stock housing at the junkyard and used it to make an edelbrock air cleaner fit

i added shocks to the rear as well. it was scary to drive with out them

    much better all cleared out

    installed some half red/clear tails

there were about 15 wires that were rubbed down to bare copper and they were all touching each other. my wife soldered in new sections. now all the gauges and idiot lights work like they should.
