I'm not calling this a build thread, to me this is progress leading to buying more and more parts that will end up a build soon enough... For now I have to drive my truck daily and can only have her torn apart for small amounts of time.

Ill start with pics of when I first got her, and go from there...

    Clear corners

Took off the hub caps and painted the steelies

Now road trip time, moving across the country. Drove her all the way. :)

Did put on some beauty rings on before the trip

    Stock height:

Wife got these for me for christmas.

Layed out on 3 inch blocks and ball joint flip.. Front needs to come down more but I have to buy wrenches this weekend

24 1/4 at the top of the rear wheel well

After about a day my back couldn't stand riding on the bump stops any longer

Made my own temperary bumps, just needed to keep from hitting metal to metal

Finished the BJ Flip and decided I wanted to take the bug reflector off.

Because it had been on there for years before I got it it messed the paint up on the good but it's going to be painted one day so no big deal.

So far that's it. It isn't much but there is a long way to go... Going to space the BJ Flif a quarter inch more then crank torsions this weekend after I get tools. After that I'm going to start looking for wheels to base the whole truck on and find a reputable frame welder out here to do a step notch. Might a well go big while I'm under there... 4link and bags are later down the road...

Lol no what's funny is I think maybe the kid that owned the truck before my uncle had it lowered and didn't put it back all the way. I have pictures and posts about riding on the front bump stops before touching anything. Most people get to about 26-27 inches after 3" blocks I'm at 24 inches already.. I have no bumps up front and home made ones in the back with about 2 1/2" of travel left. I've replaced shocks, before moving from Cali, and the height never changed... Still have 3 leafs in the back too, arch looks good but I could wrong.

Yah I think I want to keep it. Don't have the whole truck planned out in my head yet, I see things that I like and I have to figure out how to blend them together. Saving up some cash, hoping next will be a step notch big enough to house a 4libk and bag setup. Going to keep it static for a bit until I can get with some contacts and try to make some deals. ;)
Other than that just stock up on little things. And probably start body work.. She needs a lot. :0

My wife wants to make a shelf out of it for my work shop. Going to drill some holes in the top and use it to hold screw drivers and small hand tools.
