would you guys say that this is a long bed or a short bed
might be picking me up a project 87 need your help guys thanks

I am not sure but didn't the 87 model generation have a truckbed without that ridge? At least mine doesn't have it, I thought those ridges were there in the previous generation?

 

The 84-88 beds came in both styles. My 87 has the rails also.

 

Definitely short bed you can tell by the inner bed pannel in the first pic. See the square in the front end of the inner bed pannel, on a long bed there would be 2 squares instead of just one..

 

Guys can u help me I want the long bed ur side us model one. Where can I get it?

Old thread but, looks like a short bed.
Here is a long bed for comparison. Look at the distance from the back of the cab to the fuel door.
