So I thought I had a build thread on here but apperantly not..

So I'm at the Bagging and Body Drop Phase now as you will see on down in this post, but here is My build Thread from My Site

My Two low is a 1976 Toyota Hilux

Well Folks Here is the Beginning of My Trucks Build Thread. I have always wanted a Mini Truck and aquiring this one just sent me a muck.

it is a 1976/77 Toyota Hilux/sr5/Pickup the vin number caomes back 1976 Hilux but the Title says 1977 toyota Pickup and the Dash has the place for the sr5 tag on the dash and it has a 5 speed and long bed so it's all mixed up

So here goes the first 3 are from when I brought it home.

So then we lowered the rear 3" and the front 2.5
    [IMG]

you can still see the nasty Large mirror holes in the doors
    [IMG]

Then dude to Big tire syndrom I found some newer tires from a front wheel drive car, The fender rubbing stopped

This is suposed to be a shot of the creases in the front fender and door.

Well 8 and 9 are shots of My Christmas Present the wife found 5 wheels and tires for $650 So when the bed work happens I "will"... find a way to incorporate the spare tire in the build
    [IMG]

This was meant to be a close shot of the wheels but look at all the Mud... Geeze life on the farm. I need some Gravle in my Driveway
    [IMG]

So I posted my pics on PNW4WDA.org and one of the Offroaders told me he had some doors for me. OMG Dude I needed a better looking set no more Junky Miror holes
    [IMG]

As you see by the crease in mine... they were needed.

Well Bad news the Tranny started grinding and popping so I parked her in the tent
    [IMG]

Because My Garage is still in the process of being built
    [IMG]

And the Process Begins After I get a Tranny
I have the bags all I need it the 4 link and lins vavles switches....Ok all I have is the bags
    ___________________________________________________________________

Well I got my Tranny in and Cleaned her up... Geez guys, She needs a bunch of Work to bring her to your level of Looks... but anyway

    here is some pics.

Ok So I'm here to Post up a Work Party Progress Report.

Keep in Mind we started this adventure to Bag My Toy, and Body Drop it.

    Day 1 Tear down

well actually day Delivery, I went over Friday night and tucker her away in justin's Garage
It's freakin amazing how camera's just don't catch what our eyes see but I tried.

well I arrived to find Justin already had the bed loose

Pulled the bed off and removed the factory spare

found that vibration, apparently the bolts to the drive shaft fell/vibrated out and Justin was turning it around in the culdesac and the drive shaft fell off and hit the tank. Darn it that WAS a good tank.

Started the disassemble, pulling the grill

It looks so weird like that

Then moving all the fender wall crap, emissions crap gone.

Then moved the coil and cruse control crap and the washer/overflow tanks

Then the interior steering column, the emergency Brake cable was a BIOTCH

This is the exact reason we decided to Door it, the Passenger side rocker is gone.

Oops started to lift the cab off and realized we forgot the Speedo and Clutch Line

Speedo is a little easier with the cab out of the way

Cabs off, Boy did I find more stuff to clean? Geez

This is one of those moments when you can see the smoke... 4X4 guys staring at a frame wondering what would fit on it.

DIt's getting late the sun is going down and we have the Cab in the I can cut from the bottom position.

The Frame has been pushed into it's new home for a while till we get the mods done.

It's kind of Dark in here but the back of this thing is Nas T Y

We've laid down on the floor with it and formulated a plan!

Now we are inspecting what it is that needs to be cut.

That's a wierd Picture you can tell I'm getting tired, My Hands are starting to Shake.

It's kind of blurry but looks good with a Mini in the driveway.

And this Ends today's Latest Edition Of The Improvement Update to TWoLow

Nice job man. Looking good so far. So are you going to re-spray the truck a different way before you put it back together?

probably not, While it's appart we will definitly get those area's that we could not.

I'm Planning on cutting the back of the cab and straightning it and mounting a sub box from the bed into the back of the cab. and incorporating the spare tire and rim on the top of the box.

The Goal here is to Lay Door on the ground and Frame, anything else will come later, If I get stuck due to money issues, Like I ordered the Rod ends Nov 6th from Sucidedoors and they have not shipped yet.... Then I will take that spare time to shave my side vents and door handles and bed hooks.

I found a nice rightup on the S10 forums today about how to handle my front U&Lca's
