cant decide here are my pros and cons:
    stout:

    pros:
    classic
    not many around

    cons:
    hard to find
    parts are hard to find

    Datsun 620:

    pros:
engine swaps are easier to do (ive been told)
    parts are cheaper
new enought that finding one wont be hard at all

    cons:
    not as rare
    not a toyota(ps im a toyota lover)

yea, good luck finding a stout. Hell sometimes 620's are hard to come by too. I love the body lines of the 620's but I would rather have the stout myself as I am a Toyota lover too!

620's are actually pretty easy to find compared to a stout.

if your in the mood for a hilux let me know, mine is mostly for sale at the moment. im just leaving for vacation on wed so i wont really have time for a deal till after then, besides all the crap i have to take out of the bed.

i really want to trade up to a chinook:D

as far as I know stouts are like gold on the ground, when you come across one, Im in Arizona, and I havent been able to find knot even one. :( as soon as I do, Ill take it, weather its oput of state or out of the country [I found a quad cab stout in Guatemala, that I thought about picking up, [just cause my dad has family out there and the trip wouldnt be bad.] but if im able to find one in the states that would be even better.

As an aussie stout enthusiast I would love to live in the states because of what you are able to do to vehicles, but your lack of free public health and obsession with guns I rather stay here

If I could import one of your diesels is be in hog heaven! Sell my stout with all parts and live happily ever after! Hell I'd sell my crawler as well!
