Well finally got the truck running great, stopping awsome with the front disc set up.
Time to de-bondo the driver side. The driver side rocker has 1 1/2 thick bondo, the door has about an inch.Plan is to cut the doo skin off and get another door skin and weld it in, the rockers will be cut out and replaced with new metal. Pretty simple on the rockers, now the door skin will be a challenge to find, unless i find a whole door will save me tons of time.
Under the fender the sub frame or cowl area is pretty solid just surface rust will be sanded and rust proofed.
here are a couple pics of what i am starting with.:duh:
It takes just as long to smooth the filler out than to just take the damn door off and replace it.:silly:
    Wish me luck PLEASE!!:p

Yup thats how it be in the Flo-ride-duh!
My last truck was from Washington State zero rust!
It was a 1972 Ford Courier on bags, but like i said no rust at all.
This Toyo is not bad but the door and rocker are garbage.
We will see about the floor after the door and rocker is done.

Well i knew this **** would happen!
Called Friday for the door skin told the yard i would pay right then
Of course i gave them extra day just in case i call today i get another yahoo tells me that they dont do that...
Granted i spoke to the owner on Friday. But he was off today, well lets see what happens tomorrow.
This door thing is really becoming a pain in my ass!
Its no wonder why they bondoed the crap out of the door!
    Sorry had to vent!

Ok so i could not purchase a new rocker..:(
So i ve had a pair of rocker panels from a 1971 camaro.
Turns out with a lil cutting shifting welding it will work perfect!

Almost done with the outer rocker drivers side.
Took another 3 lbs of bondo off the driver side door
Unscrewed the self tappers holding down the 22 ga aluminum and there is a floor panel that is not very bad under all that shaddy **** work
