YEAH! sick man! stoked to see more out there! check out my build and PM if you need some ideas! there are a bunch of good threads on here about alternative lowering components and other guys with some sick build! lmk if you need some help! aloha
Thanks man. Can you PM me or post here how you lowered your truck? I'm looking at getting some 15x10 diamond street steelies and wanna lower it a little bit
So its very inexpensive to drop our trucks. I personally used a 3" block in the rear and then heated my front springs. I believe that there are owners out there that have used the front springs off of a Mighty Max to lower it but I may be wrong. Ill keep you posted on what I do to the front because I'm not keeping the front springs the way they are now the ride became a little bumpy after heating them up.
Yeah kmghawaii said he used mightymax springs in the front. I'll check out the dodgeram 50 (same thing) while i'm at the yard getting my brake booster.
Awesome to see another pop up here in Washington, I still have yet to see another one in person! Looks good man. I have a 2rz motor I will be swapping in this winter. For suspension I just went with cut stock coils up front and leaves pulled with 3in blocks for the rear. I have a set of Mitsubishi mighty max front coils which will drop you a couple inches in front, check my build thread out you can find it. Hit me up if you have any questions or anything, I'll try to help the best I can.
This blows - The deal fell through for the truck. After we were totaling up the costs of everything to get it running again (motor just developed a bad rod knock), I'd rather get a car and then save money to pick this truck up and get it fixed. I need something to get me around, and this would take a while to get done between my work schedule. If my friends dad doesn't decide to fix it then it's gonna be sold to someone else. If he does fix it, i'll take pictures of its progress whenever i head over.
I'll buy it as-is. Honest, shoot me a private message, can have cash and have it towed off the property. Depending on where the location is, I can give a better time frame.
