Just got a 1973 HiLux Auto. Pretty sure it only has 117000 miles. Have to get the 18rc running but plan to swap to a 20/22r hybrid due to lack of parts availability. Having problems tracking down a vacuum leak but oh so close. Will post pics soon.

OK sorry for no pics. It hasn'tbeen running and i've been making money for a motor swap. I would like to replace my current hard to find parts for 18rc auto with a 22r with an o/d auto transmission. Any suggestions on what to look for? Also any crossmebers or shifter linkage or motormounts needed? I'mconsidering just getting a donor truck but would much prefer a quick run to the junkyard. Any info appreciated.

A standard 22r would be a lot easier to swap in than trying to get the automatic to work

it already has an automatic behind the 18rc. I think putting in all the stuff for a standard would be a huge pain.
